Members of the Muktijuddha Mancha have punished a supporter by throwing him into a pond at the Zahur Ahmad Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong for wearing a Pakistani jersey. The incident took place outside the stadium around 10:30 am on Friday. Bangladesh-Pakistan first Test match is underway in Chittagong.

The young man, who was wearing a Pakistani jersey, was chased and the jersey was removed from his body. The activists of Muktijuddha Mancha said that if any citizen of Bangladesh wants to come on the field wearing Pakistani jersey, he will not be allowed to enter. So they have taken position at the entrance of the field since morning.

The activists also said that when a Bangladeshi national wearing a Pakistani jersey tried to enter the gallery in the morning, they were prevented from doing so. Wearing a Pakistani citizen wearing a Pakistani jersey or flying a flag means that he is a descendant of Razakar, a traitor. However, the citizens of Pakistan will be allowed to enter the field with dignity, they said.

The issue of flying the flag during the practice at the stadium in the series against Bangladesh and the Pakistani flag in the hands of Bangladeshis in the gallery is now a hot topic. This happened in the meantime.
