BNP is coming to the field to know the news behind the scenes

The BNP has formed two committees with top leaders to find out the reasons behind the attacks on followers of traditional religions in different parts of the country due to the Comilla incident. They are going to visit Noakhali and Comilla on Tuesday. The party's policymakers believe that attempts to implicate the BNP in the home-temple attacks have failed. The party thinks that the phone conversation between party leader Aman Ullah Aman and one of the leaders of the party in the 12th ward of Comilla City Corporation was not useful.

BNP leaders said the party would stand by the persecuted people in the event of an attack on Hindus. Central and local leaders of the party were instructed to stay by the side of the Hindu community after the incident last Wednesday. A team led by Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the party's standing committee, has been formed to stand by the victims of the Pujam-Pay attack across the country and conduct a on-the-spot investigation. The team will visit Comilla and Noakhali on Tuesday. Another team has been formed under the leadership of Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal, general secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association.

The decision was taken at a virtual meeting of the BNP's standing committee chaired by the party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman on Sunday. The party's secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the committee would visit the two affected areas and report to the Center.

According to sources, the meeting of the standing committee reviewed various contemporary issues including those attacks. Leaders think that since there is a rumor of a change of government in the country, there is a need to restructure the Election Commission; So some more incidents may happen in the country. The BNP thinks that the government is trying to get through by creating issues as usual. The events of the whole country including Comilla are not out of this.

Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy told our time, "We need to be more vigilant and deal with this conspiracy with more importance." We will have an appeal to the people of all communities, we will also have an appeal to the scholars and ulama - you should organize without stepping into the trap of the government. In that case, a movement was formed against the government, not against any community.

The BNP thinks that it was a conspiracy to blame the recent incidents in the country including Comilla. The party's policy-making leaders think the government has failed. The party thinks that the phone conversation leaked in the name of Aman Ullah Aman, the convener of Mahanagar Uttar BNP, was made by super editing.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the standing committee meeting strongly condemned and protested the government's misuse of power to implement the political agenda by controlling all digital media including the internet. The basic rights of the people, the right to free expression, the freedom of the press are called for. It was later decided to take action in this regard.

Announcing the decision of the standing committee meeting, a statement said that the standing committee meeting felt that the government was creating a communal crisis to divert the attention of the people from the existing political crisis. The situation has become more complicated as the law enforcement agencies have not taken effective action in each case. The meeting also expressed concern over the incidents and demanded that the culprits be brought to justice through an impartial investigation. False charges were filed against the BNP leaders and activists without any investigation and police raids on their homes were also strongly condemned.
